Happy to see windmill farms, but what you don’t see in this picture are the oil wells nearby pulling up fossil fuel, an interesting visual of where we are in energy production.


Population 25 on a good day.

Because it’s in the middle of nowhere and there is literally no ambient light at nighttime, this park has been designated a “Dark Sky Park” – the stars were amazing!

A real live roadrunner!! He stopped to pose for a picture and then ran down the road of course.

There are traces of copper still in these rocks.
