We woke up early this morning to find the sky completely overcast. Well, a cool day should be a good day for a hike. We set out and found out that the trail we wanted to hike required the use of a shuttle from parking area because the old trail head area is now all private residences. Yes, multi-million-dollar homes. So, we drove around and took some pics, but without the sun shining they were kinda dull.

This beautiful little river runs through our RV park.

West Fork Trail – We didn’t take the hike because it’s 7.5 miles long with an elevation gain of 1053 ft, but it looks beautiful.

Not our photo. Bell Rock Trail – 1.1 miles with an elevation gain of 380 ft. The hike description boasts fantastic views of Courthouse Butte and Bell rock. On a nicer day we probably would have done it.

What a great day hanging out at the Rancho Sedona RV Park. It’s the nicest park that we’ve been to yet. We had a great connection with Starlink and Jim was able to work for several hours. We saw a Ford F250 pulling a travel trailer having a terrible time backing into his spot, which is saying a lot since there is so much space to maneuver. The driver tried twice and then gave up and when he circled around for the third time Jim met him coming around and asked if he could help. The man said, “Yes, please!” Jim hopped into the driver seat as the guy moved to the passenger seat and was grateful to get a few tips on backing a trailer while Jim expertly backed into the space. He and his wife were very grateful. Way to go Jim!

We enjoyed the evening outside playing Farkle on the picnic table. Jim kicked ass the first round and on the second round was doing so again until Margi got a big score at the very end and pulled off a big win to even things out.
